On 1/18/2017 at 615pm Chilton County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Calera Police Department asking for assistance on Alabama Highway 155 and County Road 201. Calera P.D. was trying to locate a black Ford Mustang that had eluded their officers and was last seen in that area. Deputy Ellison was en-route to that locating and observed a vehicle matching the description on County Road 44, near The Ridge Subdivision. Deputy Ellison turned around on the vehicle and attempted to stop the subjects. The vehicle then tried to elude Deputy Ellison on County Road 42 heading into Jemison. The vehicle then turn into the “old skating rink” on County Road 42, when the subjects seen the Deputy Ellison they tried to flee on foot. Deputy Ellison was able to apprehend the driver. The driver was later identified as Jeffery Wade Parks, also in the vehicle was Regina Leigh Price. After placing both Parks and Price in custody for numours warrants, while inventory the vehicle the deputies were able to locate several small zip lock bags containing methamphetamine, heroine and prescription pills. The deputies also located several syringes, a set of digital scales and glass pipes. Both Parks and Price was transport to the Chilton County Jail and booked on possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
