Junior Deputy

The Chilton County Sheriff’s
Office is proud to announce the
registration for the 2011 Junior
Deputy Program. We would like to
invite you to be part of our 2011
Junior Deputy Group that will be
held the week of July 11th -15th for
kids between the ages of 11-15
years. We have several new exciting
things planned for this year to be
held on the Jeff State Community
College Campus.
The
Children will have the opportunity
to tour the Sheriff’s Office,
Communications (911) and meet with
Sheriff Kevin Davis.
The program will cover the following
areas:
Drug Awareness
Drill and
Ceremony
Physical Fitness
K-9
Jail
Operations
Leadership
Dive
Team
Dispatch
Operations
Responsibility
S.W.A.T.
Duties of the Office
Clerk’s Weapon Safety
Narcotics
Self Discipline
First Aid / CPR
Investigations
Courage
All
children completing the Academy will
receive daily handout items and a
graduation certificate. Lunch will
be provided each day and graduation
ceremony held on Friday following
the day’s activities.
All Registration Forms are to be
turned in no later than the 24th
of June at the Chilton County
Sheriff’s Office located inside the
Courthouse along with your $10.00
Registration Fee.
The Academy will be
limited to the first 200
approved applicants.
The Registration form on the back of
this flyer is to be filled out by a
parent or legal guardian. A parent
or a legal guardian must sign the
child in and out each day. The
proper attire would be casual
clothing with tennis shoes.
